BMW Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for BMW cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In June the price for a car is S$ 129,435 increasing till S$ 137,754 in July. During the following two months (August, September) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 25 % from S$ 133,594.5 to S$ 166,669.5. The average price has had spectacular rise of 81 % with an average price of S$ 150,132 during the previous 4 months and S$ 271,257 during the most recent months in October and November.
The average price for BMW has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is S$ 79,506. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (S$ 49,044) moving up till (S$ 111,580)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 81 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 166,378.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2018, 2019) with a price of S$ 188,936.5.
The graph that displays the price for BMW cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 68 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 266,166). Next with a price of S$ 92,548 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 15% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at S$ 170,640.
