Honda Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Honda cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of S$ 181,028. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at S$ 180,393 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -6 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -10 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from S$ 174,980.25 to S$ 157,822.5 during February and March.
The average price for Honda has remained constant in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2019, the average price is S$ 62,505.29. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (S$ 72,191) moving up till (S$ 100,496)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 99 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -8 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (S$ 114,906) and the the last two years analyzed (2022, 2023) with a price of S$ 105,184.5.
The graph that displays the price for Honda cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 59 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 148,548). Next with a price of S$ 77,759 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 16% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at S$ 113,590.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Honda cars points out to "Gasoline" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 44 % less expensive than the average market price (S$ 148,548) followed by "Electric" priced at S$ 136,893. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Electric". It´s price is 8 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of S$ 82,876.
