Jaguar Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Jaguar cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in October was of S$ 155,223. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at S$ 158,813 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -15 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -23 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from S$ 145,466.25 to S$ 112,153.
The average price for Jaguar has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2008 and 2017, the average price is S$ 82,458.2. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2008 (S$ 64,467) moving up till (S$ 100,747)in 2017. During the next two years (2018, 2019) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 69 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 161,133.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2020, 2021) with a price of S$ 183,175.
The graph that displays the price for Jaguar cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 23 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 104,307). Next with a price of S$ 90,331 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 129% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of S$ 153,199.
