Kia Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Kia cars have increased during the last 6 months. In September the price for a car is S$ 113,389 increasing till S$ 119,931 in October. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price rose somewhat going from S$ 116,660 to S$ 125,350. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from S$ 121,005 to S$ 116,503.5 during January and February.
The average price for Kia has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2008 and 2018, the average price is S$ 43,653.67. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2008 (S$ 50,867) moving up till (S$ 82,517)in 2018. During the next two years (2019, 2020) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 128 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 20 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 123,568.25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2021, 2022) with a price of S$ 147,801.
The graph that displays the price for Kia cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 85 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 115,956). Next with a price of S$ 57,493 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 3% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of S$ 93,794.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Kia cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 52 % less expensive than the average market price (S$ 115,956) followed by "Electric" priced at S$ 256,344. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Electric". It´s price is 121 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs S$ 55,500.
