Volvo Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Volvo cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of S$ 158,661. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at S$ 164,867 during November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from S$ 161,764 to S$ 158,938.5. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -23 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from S$ 160,351.25 to S$ 123,428.5.
The average price for Volvo has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2009 and 2018, the average price is S$ 56,270.75. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2009 (S$ 14,998) moving up till (S$ 105,725)in 2018. During the next two years (2019, 2020) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 178 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 17 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 189,106.5) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2021, 2022) with a price of S$ 221,823.
The graph that displays the price for Volvo cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "less than 10,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 51 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 95,508). Next with a price of S$ 52,190 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 134% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of S$ 149,090.
