BMW 3 Series Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for BMW 3 Series cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for May is S$ 83,017. During June there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till S$ 77,939. The following two months (July, August) the selling price went through a devaluation of -9 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. The average price has risen 8 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (S$ 82,772) during September and October.
The average price for BMW 3 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2014, the average price is S$ 63,899.4. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (S$ 43,142) moving up till (S$ 78,082)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 63 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 13 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 119,666.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2017, 2018) with a price of S$ 135,445.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 3 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 58 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 97,126). Next with a price of S$ 59,388 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 25% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of S$ 98,292.
