The retail prices for BMW 5 Series cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. The average price for August is S$ 110,167. During September there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till S$ 101,590. During the following two months (October, November) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 47 % from S$ 105,878.5 to S$ 155,993. The average price has had spectacular rise of 21 % with an average price of S$ 130,935.75 during the previous 4 months and S$ 157,886.5 during the most recent months in December and January.
The average price for BMW 5 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2006 and 2015, the average price is S$ 72,336.1. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2006 (S$ 37,829) moving up till (S$ 109,713)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 122 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 17 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years.
