Mazda 2 Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for Mazda 2 cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in October was of S$ 62,125. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at S$ 62,912 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -9 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from S$ 59,681 to S$ 60,370 during February and March.
The average price for Mazda 2 has become more expensive in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from 2008 to 2017, the average price was S$ 45,305.5. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between 2008 (S$ 62,000) and 2017 (S$ 52,133). During the next two years (2018, 2019) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 60 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 18 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 87,970.25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2021, 2022) with a price of S$ 103,600.
The graph that displays the price for Mazda 2 cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 37 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 59,543). Next with a price of S$ 58,841 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 25% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of S$ 60,555.
