Mazda 3 Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Mazda 3 cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of S$ 106,028. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at S$ 107,843 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -10 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -10 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from S$ 101,775.5 to S$ 91,916.5 during February and March.
The average price for Mazda 3 has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2009 and 2018, the average price is S$ 45,257.5. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2009 (S$ 36,194) moving up till (S$ 74,506)in 2018. During the next two years (2019, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 135 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 121,453.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of S$ 136,529.
The graph that displays the price for Mazda 3 cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 56 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 88,526). Next with a price of S$ 54,769 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 45% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of S$ 105,299.
