Mitsubishi Lancer Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Mitsubishi Lancer cars have increased during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in March the average price was S$ 43,383. April went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till S$ 50,515. During the following two months (May, June) the average selling price rose somewhat going from S$ 46,949 to S$ 49,611. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from S$ 48,280 to S$ 47,207 during July and August.
The average price for Mitsubishi Lancer has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2006 and 2010, the average price is S$ 41,925.8. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2006 (S$ 26,072) moving up till (S$ 32,911)in 2010. During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -50 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 30 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 30,274.5) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2016, 2017) with a price of S$ 39,446.5.
The graph that displays the price for Mitsubishi Lancer cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 32 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 47,834). Next with a price of S$ 39,067 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "more than 200,000". It is 7% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of S$ 46,823.
