Toyota Camry Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota Camry cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In January the average price per vehicle is S$ 80,306. During February the price went trough a strong deflation till S$ 64,493. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -23 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two, the price has gone through a -10 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from S$ 64,044.5 to S$ 57,674.5 during May and June.
The average price for Toyota Camry has had a strong rise in recent years. During 2006 and 2006, the average price was S$ 45,597. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2007, 2008) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 52 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -15 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (S$ 60,314.25) and the the last two years analyzed (2009, 2010) with a price of S$ 51,513.5.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota Camry cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 10 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 59,704). Next with a price of S$ 60,661 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 21% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of S$ 60,661.
