Toyota Hiace Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Toyota Hiace cars have increased during the last 6 months. In March the price for a car is S$ 102,737 increasing till S$ 110,752 in April. During the following two months (May, June) the average selling price rose somewhat going from S$ 106,744.5 to S$ 121,256.5. In the last two, the price has gone through a -11 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from S$ 114,000.5 to S$ 101,298.5 during July and August.
The average price for Toyota Hiace has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2006 and 2020, the average price is S$ 51,363.57. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2006 (S$ 25,467) moving up till (S$ 85,916)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 92 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 20 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 123,170.25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of S$ 147,503.5.
