Toyota Vios Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota Vios cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of S$ 77,102. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at S$ 80,028 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -15 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -15 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from S$ 72,800.25 to S$ 61,742.5.
The average price for Toyota Vios has had a strong rise in recent years. During 2006 and 2015, the average price was S$ 42,640.5. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 54 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 76,453.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of S$ 87,440.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota Vios cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 58 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 61,534). Next with a price of S$ 42,182 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 41% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" and a price of S$ 72,050.
