Volkswagen Tiguan Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Volkswagen Tiguan cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In July the price for a car is S$ 72,244 increasing till S$ 78,758 in August. During the following two months (September, October) the average selling price rose somewhat going from S$ 75,501 to S$ 81,426.5. The average price has risen 12 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (S$ 88,212.5) during November and December.
The average price for Volkswagen Tiguan has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2010 y 2014, the average price is S$ 62,925. There was a price inflation going from (S$ 59,350) to (S$ 66,500). During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 26 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 16 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 95,002.5) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2017, 2018) with a price of S$ 110,457.5.
