Volkswagen Touran Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Volkswagen Touran cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. The average price in December was of S$ 53,710. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at S$ 56,199 during January. During the following two months (February, March) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 26 % from S$ 54,954.5 to S$ 69,216. The average price has risen 11 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (S$ 69,133) during April and May.
The average price for Volkswagen Touran has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2009 and 2012, the average price is S$ 39,182. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2009 (S$ 32,640) moving up till (S$ 49,330)in 2012. During the next two years (2014, 2015) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 69 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 15 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 78,054.5) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2016, 2018) with a price of S$ 89,781.5.

It is 29% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of S$ 86,990.
