Mazda Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Mazda cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in February was of S$ 85,399. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at S$ 84,079 during March. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -27 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two, the price has gone through a -11 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from S$ 73,164.5 to S$ 64,900 during June and July.
The average price for Mazda has become more expensive in recent years. During the first sample analyzed ("before 2000" - 2014), the average selling price stood at S$ 55,577.4. During this time, the price for "before 2000" which was S$ 60,069 decreased to S$ 52,600 during 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 27 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 8 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 76,460.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2017, 2018) with a price of S$ 82,356.5.
The graph that displays the price for Mazda cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 36 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 65,805). Next with a price of S$ 57,465 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 22% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of S$ 78,745.
