Mazda Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Mazda cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. The average price in June was of S$ 63,995. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at S$ 65,805 during July. The following two months (August, September) the selling price went through a devaluation of -5 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. The average price has had spectacular rise of 42 % with an average price of S$ 63,163.75 during the previous 4 months and S$ 89,747.5 during the most recent months in October and November.
The average price for Mazda has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2006 and 2014, the average price is S$ 46,230.12. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2006 (S$ 31,525) moving up till (S$ 67,667)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 54 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 8 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (S$ 77,490.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2017, 2018) with a price of S$ 83,838.
The graph that displays the price for Mazda cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 48 % more affordable than the average price (S$ 92,174). Next with a price of S$ 53,998 and a mileage range of "more than 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 12% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at S$ 79,478.
